Imperfect pet food is a list of foods which do not meet the nutritional standards of a pet, with the exception of some essential oils.
These are often made by using a high percentage of the ingredients of a certain species or a particular plant.
The best pet food can be formulated to be as nutritious as possible for your pet, which in turn means that you will have a better chance of finding the right products for your dog.
There are two main types of perfect pet foods, nutrient-rich and low-nutrient-rich.
Healthiest pet food ingredients include: Natural ingredients like sweet potatoes, rice, rice bran and chickpeas, and legumes, such as soy, lentils and peas.
Good fats include fish oil, palm oil, olive oil, coconut oil and jojoba oil.
Bitter ingredients include sodium chloride, sugar, salt and preservatives.
Nutritionist Mark Hutton advises people to limit their intake of high-fiber foods such as rice, wheat and pasta.
“We are eating much more grains and legume and vegetable foods, and many of them are high in added sugars,” he said.
He recommends people get more fruits and vegetables and lower in protein and saturated fats.
For people who like to get their protein in through the diet, Hutton recommends sticking to organic meats and fish.
If you are a vegan, you can still have a good quality pet food if you use plant-based protein, such a soy protein or fish protein.
Hutton said that for people who want a balanced diet with plenty of nutrients, the best ingredients would be: Paleo, organic, whole grains, legumes and leguminous vegetables.
A vegan diet should include a mix of whole grains and nuts.
Try to use a mix that is high in protein, but also low in carbohydrates.
It is important to try different foods to get the best result, he said, and to try to get as much of each ingredient into the diet as possible.
