The dog food industry has become one of the biggest health threats to the planet and a major source of obesity, diabetes and chronic diseases in the US, with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) now looking into the matter.
The dog foods have become a major part of the US diet and have become the primary food for more than half the US population, and the majority of dogs are kept on small diets, with one study suggesting that 50% of American households had no pet food at all.
Dog food recalls Dog food recalls are a common occurrence and it is often difficult to predict exactly what is going to happen next.
However, the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is now looking at the potential for the food to be recalled, which means that manufacturers could lose millions of dollars and millions of dog bites.
The company, which was formed in the 1990s to oversee food safety, is the largest consumer watchdog in the country and is part of a group called the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
The agency has launched an investigation into the recall, which it said could affect millions of people, with a potential impact of as much as $1.5bn.
It is due to be published in October.
What can be done?
The FSSI has issued a warning about the possibility of a recall.
The warning states that the company is investigating a possible recall of dog food.
However this could be a more complex process, as the company could have to provide documents or a sample of the product to the FSSIS to prove it is safe.
In addition, it could be argued that the product is already in circulation and that it is no longer unsafe to eat.
In a statement, the FSDI said that “a sample of dog foods has already been submitted to the FSA.
We are waiting for the sample to be evaluated and the results to be made available.”
A sample of products that could be affected The FSDIs analysis states that “the FSA has a duty to ensure that the safety of dog and cat food is assured.”
It adds that “it would be inappropriate for us to make further comment at this stage.”
The recall could be linked to the US’s dog food safety regime, which requires manufacturers to ensure the safety and quality of their products before they are sold.
However some products that have been recalled are not part of that regime, such as dog biscuits and the popular brand, Gobi.
The company said that it “continues to work closely with the FSA and the Food & Drug Administration to ensure all of the relevant data is available to us.”
There is currently no immediate estimate on how many people could be hurt or killed by a recall, but the FSIS said it was looking into how many pet owners had received dog food recalls in the past.
The agency says it will be publishing a detailed update on the situation when it publishes the first of three reports on the issue in October, with further information being released as required.
The FSA has already issued recalls for over 100 food products, including pet food, dog treats, shampoo, shampoo shampoo and conditioner, and other items.
In February, the company received a recall for a batch of dog treats.
A second recall in February was for shampoo and shampooing foam.
